We report a rare case of bilateral anterio-medial defect in the diaphragm
in a 5-month-old infant presenting with recurrent respiratory tract infection. He had two adjacent accessory hepatic lobes
which, presumably, had embryologically caused the defect. He also had secondary herniation of the transverse colon without
any symptoms attributable to it. We describe the management of this condition and the concerned literature is reviewed.
