Congenital bilateral Morgagni’s hernia secondary to twin accessory hepatic lobes in an infant PDF Print E-mail
We report a rare case of bilateral anterio-medial defect in the diaphragm in a 5-month-old infant presenting with recurrent respiratory tract infection. He had two adjacent accessory hepatic lobes which, presumably, had embryologically caused the defect. He also had secondary herniation of the transverse colon without any symptoms attributable to it.
